Caesarean Birth Prep in Lancashire and Online
You've been told a caesarean is "the easy way out."
You've smiled and said nothing.
But inside? You're absolutely done with that take.
Because the truth is, knowing your baby is coming by caesarean feels like a lot of things at once.
Relief. Fear. Grief, maybe. A bit of all three.
And somewhere underneath all of it, you’ve got a quiet, urgent need to feel ready.
Not just "here's what will happen on the day" ready.
Actually ready.
A general antenatal course wasn't built for this.
Most birth prep assumes a vaginal birth.
The breathing. The positions. The "trust your body" language.
All of it written for a different birth than yours.
Which means you've either been sitting in rooms that weren't quite for you, or you've been Googling at midnight trying to piece it together yourself.
This is five hours built entirely around a caesarean birth. Your rights in theatre. Your choices before, during, and after. What it actually feels like — emotionally and physically — and how to walk in feeling steady instead of braced.
Not a module tucked inside a bigger course.
Not a pamphlet from your consultant.
This.
You know your birth is too important to just hope for the best.
Maybe you've just been told you're having a planned section and you're still processing what that means.
Maybe you chose this, and you're tired of feeling like you need to defend that to everyone.
Maybe you've had a caesarean before and this time, you want it to feel different.
Whatever brought you here — you want someone who'll actually tell it to you straight.
Not "every birth is beautiful."
Not "just trust the doctors."
Not a leaflet explaining the procedure like you're not a person with feelings about it.
You want to know what's going to happen. What you're actually allowed to ask for. How to walk into that theatre feeling like you — not like someone things are just happening to.
Because a caesarean isn't something to endure.
And you already know that. That's why you're here.
Birth With Choice is recommended by NHS-midwives and families
What you'll walk away with…
- A mindset that's shifted from dread to readiness, with practical tools you can actually use when you're lying on that table.
- A step-by-step picture of exactly what happens on the day, from walking into theatre to the moment your baby is in your arms. No surprises. No blanks.
- A clear understanding of your rights and choices in theatre, because yes, you have them, and yes, they matter.
- Relaxation and breathing techniques that work specifically for a caesarean, before, during, and in those early hours after.
- A birth partner who knows exactly what their role is, what to say, and how to hold the room for you when you need it most.
- A personalised birth plan that reflects your caesarean, not a generic template.
- Honest, practical guidance on recovery, physically, emotionally, and everything in between, because the fourth trimester after a section is its own thing entirely.
- Access to the Birth With Choice Library, a caesarean workbook, a luxury pregnancy gift bag, and ongoing WhatsApp support for the rest of your pregnancy.
Five hours. Completely yours. Built around nothing but your birth.
Hey, I'm Eleanor
Mum of two (four pregnancies), Doula, and living by the coast up north.
My daughter was born at Blackpool Victoria Hospital at 36 weeks via an emergency caesarean.
Her birth is still the proudest moment of my life.
And it's not luck that I feel that way. It was preparation.
After her birth, I decided I was done staying quiet. So I started Birth With Choice.
Since then I've supported hundreds of families worldwide, working alongside midwives, obstetricians, birth experts and specialists to make informed, confident birth the norm, not the exception.
I've supported first-time mums, mums after trauma, IVF mums, pregnancies after loss, and the partners walking it all with them.
I don't believe in vague birth prep. I believe in informed confidence.
I used to think knowledge would make birth feel scarier. Turns out, it makes you steadier. Stronger.
That's what I want for you.
Not just "here's what happens in theatre." But walking into that room feeling steady. Informed. Proud of how prepared you are.
If you're having a caesarean and you want to feel like the strongest version of yourself before your baby even arrives, you're in the right place.
It’s your turn to get the support you truly deserve
Birth With Choice gives parents the kind of support that makes you say: “Why has no one explained any of this to me before?” (because yep - that’s what I hear from mums every single week).
-
This isn’t a ‘do a course off you go’ situation; from now on, I’m just as invested in your birth prep as you are.
2 sessions covering 5 hours of caesarean birth prep, so you're walking into that theatre the most informed and prepared version of yourself.
Instant access to the Birth With Choice Library, so when your brain starts spiralling at midnight, you've got resources you can trust in one place.
A caesarean workbook with everything you need in one place, so you're not jumping between notes, apps and screenshots trying to piece it together.
A luxury pregnancy gift bag - Aura Orbs, handpicked Affirmation Cards, Aromatherapy and other little touches.
Ongoing WhatsApp support for the duration of your pregnancy - so when something comes up, you’re not second guessing, you’ve got someone you can trust.
